As the Tennessee Volunteers open their season tonight in Knoxville, the weather has also chilled out locally.

Teams across Dickson County will be back in action tonight after having to postpone games earlier in the week or seeing glower attendance numbers due to weather.

Dickson County Girls Soccer will host West Creek in a district matchup at 7 p.m.

While the Lady Cougar Volleyball team will host old rival Henry County in district play at 7 as well.

Meanwhile, across town, the Lady Red Hawks will take a night off on the Volleyball court but travel on the pitch for a soccer matchup at Harpeth beginning at 6 p.m.

Make sure to get out and support local teams and athletes and do not forget about High School Football on the RFC Sports Network tomorrow night.

Creek Wood will travel to new region foe Marshall County on WDKN 1260 AM. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. with Pre-Game thirty minutes prior.

The Cougars, similarly, will hop on a bus for a new region matchup with John Overton on 101.5 the One also beginning at 7 with pre-game thirty minutes prior.
