Tuesday night the Lady Cougars and the Lady Red Hawks proved why they are some of the most dominant programs in their respective classifications.

Both handled their district tournaments with relative ease after completing undefeated regular-season campaigns.

Creek Wood defeated Sycamore in their final while the Dickson County waltzed through Kenwood in the semis before dispatching of Northwest in the final.

Neither team ever looked in much trouble holding their opponents to single digits in many sets and not letting any opponent score more than 15 points in a single set.

That means both the Lady Red Hawks and the Lady Cougars both dispatched each of their tournament opponents by a minimum of ten points in every set.

Dominance all the way around.

They do it in a similar fashion as well never letting up.

Constant energy, diving after balls, giving maximum effort defensively, and letting that lead to offensive production.

Creek Wood and Dickson County both now prepare to up the challenge level as the region tournaments for both will take place on October 12th, next Tuesday.
