Robert Freeman was born and raised right here in Dickson before moving to the Columbus, Indiana (with his cats) to put down roots and continue his career in radio. Along the way he met the sweetest woman who agreed to be his wife. Now they’re coming home to Dickson to raise their first baby who’s due in May. Freeman loves Jesus, his wife, music, cooking, sweet tea and serving his community. In his free time you can catch him cheering for Vanderbilt, the Titans, and anyone playing the Vols. Hear him every day, 5-10 on 101.5 The One and WDKN.
Colin Castleberry is our Sports Director here at WDKN. He was born in Knoxville and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Journalism and Electronic Media and a minor in Theatre. Although he spent most of his life in Cleveland, Tennessee, he considers Knoxville to be home. He played a fair amount of sports growing up that he believes drove his passion for sports commentary. He loves interacting with people and can always be found around Main Street grabbing coffee at House Blend or lunch at one of the few tasty restaurants. He’s excited to be in Dickson County and calling for Creek Wood sports. “Go Red Hawks!” Tune in on Wednesday nights at 6pm for The RFC Sports Hour, and every Monday night at 6pm for the 1260 Sports Roundtable. Have any story ideas? Shoot him an email at ccastleberry@wdkn.com.
