Today, McAlister’s Deli opens its 500th store in Dickson County, but only for community heroes. This soft opening is to highlight the local heroes in the community of Dickson.
The restaurant stated in a social media post, “The Dickson Community would not be what it is today without those who selflessly serve on a daily basis. To show our appreciation, we want to serve those who serve us.”
After talking to the Southern Rock CEO, David Blackburn, he gave some insight into how this event and opening on is very exciting.
Blackburn told us that this is the 500th McAlister’s location and the 95th for Southern Rock. Additionally, he stated that this he is familiar with the area, since he lives up the road in Franklin. With this location being close to the interstate and still in the growing Dickson community, its a fantastic location.
