The Lone Star Dickson Stampede Days Rodeo will be in town this weekend, July 9th and 10th at the Dickson County fairgrounds.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children, and free for ages 3 and younger. Tickets can be our shaded online with a $2 transaction fee or you can purchase them at the gate.
Contest events will include: bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, cowgirl’s breakaway roping, team roping, cowgirl’s barrel racing, and brahma bull riding.
Additionally they will have special events for kids beginning at 7:30. These events are free to enter and include best dressed cowboy and cowgirl and a gold rush.
Other special attractions include authentic chuckwagon racing and the 2x rodeo clown and barrel man of the year, “mighty” Mike Wentworth.
The main rodeo will begin at 8:00pm after the kids events at 7:30pm.
