Krystal Daniels, ex-wife of Joseph Daniels who was convicted of murdering their 5 year old son, Joe Clyde Daniels, appeared in court yesterday for a hearing.
The hearing consisted of setting dates to hear pre-trial motions, jury selection, and the trial.
Judge Wolfe ruled that the motion hearing will be on September 14th, which is also coincidentally the same day her ex-husband, Joseph Daniels will be in court to be sentenced that afternoon.
Additionally, Judge Wolfe ruled that jury selection will begin on February 1st in Stewart County. Although this case has been highly publicized, he believes that it is possible to find a jury who doesn’t know every detail.
Judge Wolfe then ruled that the next available date for trial will begin in February 2022.
