It was a mixed bag Tuesday night at Greenbrier.

The Lady Red Hawks did what they were expected to do.

A 67-36 victory that saw nearly every available Lady Red Hawk score.

Laura Nichols led the way with sixteen points, followed closely by Alessia Nesbitt with fourteen.

Savannah Baker was unavailable for another game, but several players picked up the slack.

Hannah Gutherie had eight in the fourth, while Brooke Burgess and Zoe England combined for five more.

It was also the Lady Red Hawks fourth straight game scoring sixty-plus.

This after they failed to break forty-five in the two previous games.

Things did not go as well for the Red Hawks.

Even with the return of Jamison Ford, Greenbrier at home was too much.

53-43 the Bobcats took down the Red Hawks to all but secure a regular-season district title.

Ford in his return did his best leading the team with twelve, including a six-point burst to start the third quarter.

Meanwhile, no other Red Hawk scored in double digits.

Greenbrier only had two players in double figures, showing how defensive this game was.

After a 71-64 first matchup it was clear both sides came in concentrating on the defensive end of the floor.

The Red Hawks will be back in action on Friday night at West Creek.

The Lady Red Hawks however will have to wait a full week, till next Tuesday, to travel to White House.
