On this day in 1994, John Berry struck it big with his first and only number one single; Your Love Amazes Me. Berry took advantage of a tried and true formula in country music; the pretty love song. It paid off with a chart topper that blasted him onto the country music scene!
Throughout the 90’s, Berry produced multiple Top 10 singles like, ‘She’s Taken a Shine’ and ‘One the Edge of Goodbye’. Unfortunately he never quite recaptured the magic of ‘Your Love Amazes Me.’ His last single was a song titled ‘Give Me Back My America’ in 2012 that failed to create any buzz.
