It was senior night on the pitch and rivalry Tuesday on the court last night for the Lady Red Hawks.
The soccer team faced off with Kenwood and got a big 3-0 win, just their second victory this season, on a night when they were celebrating their three seniors Jaycie Luster, Hallie Bullock, and Cheyenne Brown.
The three goals came courtesy of Maya Miccio who scored twice and Julia Adams.
Head Coach Kate Siddall emphasized how “proud of them” she was, and went on to say “we have a lot of fun together.”
Soccer will have one more chance for a victory Thursday as well, taking on Montogmery Central at the home of the Indians.
They played last week and that game was highly competitive and high scoring until it was called off in the second half due to lightning.
Meanwhile, the volleyball team was looking to pick up yet another district victory at home over rival Fairview. They did just that in three straight sets 25-15, 25-14, 25-14.
They will celebrate senior night Thursday evening at home facing off with McEwen.
