Hello WDKN listeners! I'm a seventeen year-old Junior at Dickson County High School. I'm on the air Sundays here at the radio station. You can catch my all-request show featuring "Instant Classics" (newer traditional country) on Sunday afternoons from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm. Call me with your request at 446-4000!
I have always had a great interest in Journalism, especially Broadcasting, and plan on making it my career, following in the footsteps of my mother Dana Kaye. I was born in Monroe, Louisiana, and moved to DIckson when I was nine. I also work part-time at the Roxy Movie Theater, and I love to spend time with my friends and family! Other activities I enjoy include running, shopping and horseback riding...I have a beautiful horse and escape to the country whenever I have time.
My father is a news reporter in New Orleans, Louisiana, and my step-father is Dan Alsobrooks, the District Attorney General.
I plan on going to college after graduation from high school, and majoring iin Broadcast Journalism. I am very happy to have gotten my foot in the door here at WDKN, and am enjoying every minute of working here!
