Meharry Medical College’s Oral Health Day offers free dental services to uninsured adults

For the past two years, the American Student  Dental Association at Meharry Medical College have been offering their dental services to those who have trouble obtaining insurance through Oral Health Day.

The Oral Health Day will take place on March 9, 2019 at 1005 Dr DB Todd Jr Blvd Nashville, TN 37208.

This day offers free dental services such as extractions, fillings, and cleanings to those adults who are uninsured in the Tennessee area. Insurance or ID is not required but you must be at least 18 years old to receive treatment.

Doors open at 7 am and patients will be seen on a first come first serve basis and.

Kenneth Forte spoke to several dental students on the Power Lunch on Thursday and the students recommend to get there early. In previous years, patients have waited as early as 3 am to be seen. Parking is available but it is limited. Patients will report to Henry A. Moses, Ph.D. Alumni for registration and check-in.
