Dr. Nick Brown announced as Assistant Principal of Dickson Elementary School.

Dr. Danny L. Weeks, Director of Schools, announced that Dr. Nick Brown as the Assistant Principal of Dickson Elementary School.

Brown was born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of New York. He graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo and received his master’s degree in administrative leadership from Union University  in 2014. HE recently finished the Lipscomb Doctoral program, receiving his doctorate in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change.

In 2010, Brown moved to Tennessee and began his career as a School Counselor at Westmoreland Elementary School. While there, he founded a summer program that focused on experiential learning through daily field trips. He has worked as a Teacher Leader District Coach with TDOE for three years and this past year he served as a SCORE fellow.  HE has been a teacher leader and lead interventionist at Westmoreland Elementary since 2013.

Dr. Brown is extremely excited to be joining Dickson County Schools as the Assistant Principal of Dickson Elementary.
