Dickson Intermediate School to host Family Fun Night

Dickson Intermediate School will be hosting a family fun night this evening in hopes to raise money for the school year. The fundraiser, now in its third year, will have activities for all ages.

Michell Prieur, who is in charge of the event, says that activities for this year’s Family Fun Night will include a Chili Supper, 6thgrade dance, a silent auction, games, funnel cakes, face painting, and dunking booth. While there is no overall admission charge, Prieur says that most of the events will have a small price.

The Chili Supper and dance will be $5 per person. Those who wish to participate in the games will be able to purchase a punch card for $10, and each game will be one to two punches. The games vary to entice all ages and will feature everything from fishing in a duck pond to testing your aim at the archery range.

All the funds raised from this event will go towards the purchase of school supplies. Prieur says they’re even looking into some technology purchases if enough funds are raised at the event.

Th Family Fun Night is open to the public.
