Deputies investigate Nashville teen’s drowning in Dickson County
The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 19 year old Nashville teen.
The teen was identified as William “Will” Carver, a recent graduate of Montgomery Bell Academy.
Deputies were called around 11 am Friday to 1500 Timber Ridge Road in Charlotte in regards to a reported drowning and arrived to find Carver dead.
According to Dickson County Sheriff’s Office Captain Randy Starkey, Carver had been pulled from the lake and onto the bank.
Detectives have learned that there was a party the previous night with a group of young adult.
An autopsy has been performed and detectives are waiting on the results. The circumstances around the drowning are under investigation.
