HUMANE SOCIETY CLOSED TEMPORARILY AS EMPLOYEE TESTS FOR COVID
By Emily Blackmarr
The Dickson County Humane Society is closed temporarily due to COVID-19.
One employee became exposed this past week and the Humane Society is taking extra precautions to make sure that nobody else is exposed.
However, this hasn’t stopped their business from helping animals find their forever home.
If residents are seeking a pet, they may make an appointment by phone.
In March, the Humane Society had 137 animals adopted and last month had 161, the largest number of adoptees in the history of the shelter being opened.
